I purchased this product on August 1 2024. About two weeks ago, the pin in the buckle somehow got on the wrong side of the buckle so it doesn't work. You cannot put it on your wrist so its useless. There is no way to fix it. So I decided to buy an upgraded fitbit, the Charge 6. It simply does not work. I charged it but it won't turn on. It won't connect to bluetooth. The alleged "button" does not work. I called support and got nowhere with a "customer service" rep so I am returning the Charge 6. I'm not getting a replacement because I no longer have any faith in this company. The Insipire 3 was purchased on August 1, 2024 so they wont do anything about their broken Inspire 3 product which broke through no fault of my own. Also, the person I spoke with was very difficult to understand and hear. Long ordeal getting connected to a customer service after searching the web site for a phone #.

UPDATE: About an hour or so after I wrote this but before it was on here, Fitbit emailed me and said they’d make a one time exception and would replace the inspire 3. They mailed it to me. Should get it this week.

**edit** I haven’t had it too long but now they’re pushing everyone to go to Google befor Fitbit becomes obsolete. Now I know why the latest updates are terrible. I really liked it at first. They can’t just leave things alone. It seems fraudulent to sell a product then change it to almost a completely different thing. Updates are one thing, but this is junk.

I like to get a general idea of my steps and sleep so I’m okay it’s not going to be completely accurate. If you have any dexterity issues, you’ll need assistance with the tiny metal bars that attach to Fitbit. Not a whole lot of options for alternative bands since this is such a wonky band.
It says it dims but it’s still way too bright if I want to check the time at night. Not really dim, which I had to get used to after my last one.
I liked my Fitbit okay, the purple is pretty. I like the smaller face.
I liked syncing my info after a workout or at the end of the day. Now the app is all one color and is difficult to read. The sections all look the same so it takes longer to find what I want to look at. It hurts my eyes and isn’t just plain terrible. Hopefully they change it to something better but I absolutely would not buy again if I knew the app would change so something that terrible. I wish I had gone with a different brand now. It’s pushing users towards using Google account. I just want the simple fitbit. Just the trackers, not the push to buy services I don’t want or need.
Sometimes it likes to tell me I have 150 zone minutes when it’s more like 25. Syncing can be an issue. Steps can occasionally be way off. But I think that just happens. More forgivable than the terrible new app layout (sure makes me feel old and cranky!).
Look into other brands before buying a fitbit.
