This will be my second fitbit as I had the Inspire 2 and it unfortunately died on me after 2 years, was sadly heartbroken as I wish it lasted longer so i bought the Inspire 3.
Honestly have no complaints for this one at all
Tracks everything pretty well. Good Connectivity, Good Heart Rate tracking, decently accurate, havent tested the waterproofness of it yet though and the brightness is great

Only con is that I hate that fitbit requires a subscription, I feel like thats kinda scammy
Overall a good health tracking and overall watch
very sleek design also which I like

The Inspire 3 device itself seems extremely well-designed & put together, fairly intuitive, easy to use, functional & reasonably accurate. It is far superior to the other fitness watches I've tried.

The problem was setting up the app, a rather exhausting job that took nearly an hour on the phone with Fitbit tech support. Several years ago I bought a Fitbit Charge 5 & setting up a Fitbit account used to be fairly easy, but now it's a bit more complicated. After Google bought Fitbit they now require you to set up a Gmail account in order to create a Fitbit account to track your activities (unless of course you already have a Gmail account). Another downside is that you must agree to let Google use your data for whatever purposes they like, which was almost a deal-breaker, but I turned off most of the settings, permissions etc.

But once I got through the setup, the Inspire 3 seems to work quite well. The only function I'm not sure about is sleep tracking, which is very difficult to measure accurately. But It at least gives you a ballpark idea of your sleep cycles.

I'm confident in recommending the Inspire 3 for most basic health metrics.

I'm giving this 4 stars only because I just received it this morning and obviously it'll take a while to collect all the data. But in terms of aesthetics and wearability, it's great! It's so sleek and doesn't look/feel too bulky on my tiny wrist. LOVE the pink color! I wanted something that wasn't as advanced as an Apple Watch and not as expensive as the Oura ring so I think this is the perfect alternative to both. I don't normally wear watches so it'll take some getting used to but so far I love it. It was really easy to set up too and didn't take long to charge.

The Inspire 3 is an upgrade from a fitness tracker obtained through my health benefits plan. The tracker itself was okay, and very similar in appearance to the Inspire 3. It was let down by a horrible app (Wearfit 2.0) that's so overloaded with ads that it's practically impossible to use.

I like the Fitbit app--lots of detail and easy to scroll through and check previous days. The one area the app suffers most is that set up information for the device can be confusing to find: what wrist is the device worn on? Stride length, etc. The set up details on the app could be better organized.

The Inspire 3 is comfortable to wear, the screens are easy to read. The wrist band on the Inspire 3 is short, and I'll be changing it to the longer band that comes with it. My biggest problem with the Inspire 3 is that it's very sensitive to arm movements and counts too many of them as steps, even though I wear it on my non-dominant wrist.

My main interests are sleep and step tracking. Sleep works fine, step tracking is hit or miss if every time I lift my arm it counts as a step. For $70 I call it a fair value, but if I were more comfortable wearing a larger fitness tracker while I sleep, I'd look at one of the Amazfit watches.

I bought it primarily to track sleep patterns.

It works pretty well, but there was one night, out of 5, so far, where there was a gap in the graph results (photo attached). The battery had plenty of charge, so I don't know why there was a gap.

I wish that it was possible to view the results on a Windows computer, but the app only runs on Android (or an Apple device). I know I could use some sort of Android emulator like Bluestacks, but the adware is too annoying. Anyhow, I got around the problem by viewing it on my Android tablet, which has a large enough screen.

I wish it was possible to customize the the dashboard-like results display. There are a lot of functions that I never plan to use and would like to hide.

    Overall, a good value.

I bought this watch because I wanted a watch / fitness tracker that does three things well:
    1) Keep track of my steps.
    2) Receive text message and phone call notifications.
    3) Have a long battery life where I don't feel like I am charging it every other night.

I prefer a watch that does not have apple pay, a speaker, a bigger screen, or other features/factors that make it feel more like a second phone on my wrist. That being said, this watch does have some have extra features that I do like.

    The main pros:
    - The battery life is great. Three months into owning it, I am at about a 6-7 day average between charges.
    - It appears to be waterproof so far. It does have a water lock mode as well, but I usually just take it off before showers or swimming.
    - It is nice and light. I enjoy the slim profile compared to bigger bulkier watches. It is overall comfortable.
    - It is pretty durable. I am pretty rough on it as far as wearing this when working outside or doing things that could potentially scratch it and bang it up. It does have two very small scratches on the screen that are 100% my fault. The scratches are not visible when the watch face is on - only when the screen is off.
    - The band is secure. I owned and returned the amazon fitness tracker because the band for that watch constantly came undone and the replacement bands were no better.
    - I was not expecting to enjoy or even use the alarm feature on this watch, but I use it constantly. It helps wake me up without waking my wife up.

    The main cons:
    - There is not a 'watch face' available that 100% of the time shows how many steps I have for the day. I currently have the watch face that shows the number of steps when I initially wake the screen, but I will sometimes accidently bump the screen and the number of steps will cycle to my hear rate, or my zone minutes, or something else. I wish there was a watch face option where the number of steps was the only metric shown on the watch face minus the time and date. Of course, my number of steps is usually only one or two swipes away, but I would prefer zero swipes. This is not the end of the world to most people I am sure, but it is annoying for me personally considering what I wanted out of this watch.
    - Cannot see overall number of steps for the day during a walk exercise - just the number of steps on the current walk exercise. You need to enter the Fitbit app on your phone to see the number of steps total for the day.
    - When I allowed my Google account to merge with the Fitbit app, the exercises on the watch got a little goofy. Meaning the exercises do not display on my watch like I have it ordered in the app.

Overall, I do like this watch and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a watch to do the three things I mentioned above.

Got this watch to start counting steps. It had lasted almost a week after it being fully charged including sleeping in it, which is pretty neat. The app is very helpful in keeping you up to date when it’s synced. I personally did not like the silicone band, I also have a big wrist. The bands take getting used to when putting on for the first couple of times. The only real negative I have is it does not sync well with my phone. It takes a good bit to update everything and sometimes I can’t use the “find iPhone” button unless I have the app open on my phone. Other than that I personally like it and does what I need for the price.

I expected to receive 4 sections of bands. A buckle strap and an adjustable strap in both small and large. Unboxing my Inspire 3, the small bands were attached to the black case and also included in the package was a single large adjustable strap. I thought I was missing the large buckle strap. After checking, I realized they only provide one buckle band. I gave a 4-star rating because the description and packaging said "includes small & large size bands" but didn't explicitly state how many band pieces are included.

I got this because I’m attempting to get more healthy and track my sleep. It was super easy to connect to my phone and has stayed synced ever since.

The watch itself seems to be pretty good quality and the charge lasts about 10 days. It is fairly accurate, but does have trouble automatically detecting my workouts for whatever reason. The notifications can honestly get a little annoying at times. I’ll have just been standing working on something for a while and I sit down and get a notification that I need to stand up. So that’s weird.

    Overall, good but basic!

My Fitbit Alt died. I needed a new one because I love it as a watch and step counter. I don’t like the bigger Fitbits. This is definitely serving its purpose. You can get texted messages also. It does do a lot more but not into all that. I did get a different band so it’s more stylish. Also, very easy to sync with my old account I had set up already. I gave it a 4 star because sometimes when you are tapping to get messages, different formats appear.

Summary - The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a very good fitness tracker. It counts steps, monitors heartrate and is even a sleep tracker. It has pretentions of being a smart device but don't be fooled. If you use this as a simple tracker that links to a smartphone to download results you'll be very happy with it. It's from a well known brand, has a decent battery life and good accuracy. If you want a smart device then buy an Apple Watch as the Inspire 3 won't do that properly and you won't be happy. I like it but know it is limited and I'm happy with that.

Pros - Battery life. This will depend upon how you use the device. I have turned off all of the notifications and other stuff. I link the device to my phone once or twice a day for a few minutes and I don't compulsively check the screen. In this minimalist fashion I do manage 10 or 11 days between re-charges. That's very good for such a small device and I don't have to remember to recharge it every night so I'm happy too.
Accuracy - It's pretty good. Steps correlate with other devices as does heart rate. Sleep tracking is reasonable and apart from a well documented tendency to confuse deep sleep with light sleep it is consistent. These devices are only indicators and not proper medical devices. If you have sleep problems then a proper sleep polysomnography is what you need. But this is good enough. I've never been able to tell what the sleep score properly correlates too though. There are days when I can have a great sleep score and feel tired by 10:00am. it's just a number not a way of life.

The indifferent - The screen is small and the choice of displays isn't very good. I found one that works for me and I see no reason to change it. The screen is bright but very small. Another reason not to think this is a replacement for something like an apple watch.
Fit - the Inspire 3 comes with two soft, silicone straps. It is comfortable to wear. Just be advised that the device needs to be tight to the wrist to get proper readings. It can slip to a loose position and not be able to measure anything. This means that you'll get maybe 9 out of 10 nights of sleep records then a junk one. And, if you're lifting weights in a gym it will be useless for heart rate monitoring in those conditions. Otherwise it's fine.

The Bad - Only to a phone? My old fitbit used to link to my desktop where I could use a large display to see the data. New ones like the Inspire 3 only link to phones. This is a problem with getting older but why do I have to look at a tiny screen (my phone)? Guess fitbit couldn't be bothered to maintain the desktop software.
Fitbit Premium - aka the "con". So fitbit want to charge you a monthly fee for premium features. How dumb do they think I am? I don't see any benefit to this and certainly not for a "mere" $9.99. Don't fall for this. The Inspire 3 is a relatively inexpensive device from a well known brand. it doesn't need the extras premium can give and you don't need to give Fitbit the money. It's just another wasted subscription draining your wallet.

Conclusions - There is a lot to like about the Inspire 3 if you have the right mindset. it's well made, comfortable to wear, reasonably accurate and with good battery life. It is a good tracker. It's not a substitute for a proper smart watch even though Fitbit want you to think it is. If you're happy to let it be a tracker with limited contact with a phone it will meet your needs. And meet them well. As a tracker it's highly recommended. As a smart device with a premium subscription it's a joke. Recommended with use case caveats.

I bought this to monitor my sleep. I suppose it does it well enough.

Currently, I have a free trial for the premium membership with Fitbit, so I get more details about my sleep patterns.

The drawback on the watch screen is that the numbers at the bottom are soooo small. I mainly look at my heart rate in the morning upon awaking or in the middle of the night. I need to use glasses and/or a magnifying glass to see that. If your eyes are young eyes, then you won't feel as frustrated.

If you have trouble seeing small numbers, a bigger screen would be better.

    Love the bright yellow.

GPS: I saw a review crying about needing to have phone on body in order to have GPS tracked. The features of the Inspire 3 compared to other models are CLEARLY listed in THIS product description. This model has CONNECTED GPS (means it will talk to phone), or you can choose a model with GPS built in (no need to have phone on you). ZERO surprises here.

STEP COUNT: I find it accurate, leaning toward underestimation, which is fine. Never have I found it to over estimate. Seems about as accurate as all the other Fitbit products I have used over the past 10 years. If you find it over estimating for whatever reason, then raise your goal.

SCREEN CLARITY: good color, clean clear presentation. I have been using their smart watches the past several years, so I wasnt sure what to expect from their "low end" basic model. Very clear. Very different (and better) than basic models of 8-10 years ago.

SCREEN USE: very receptive to my touch. I can tap the screen and see the time, date, and steps, and then scroll UP to see: date, battery amount, steps, distance, floors, hourly activity progress, heart rate(actual and resting), sleep and sleep score, Sp02, menstrual info, exercise progress. Scroll DOWN, to see alarm if you have one set, or want to turn off. Along with other options. Use SIDE button and swipe left or right for other information and settings stuff.

BATTERY LIFE:. Lasts forever. I have my watch set to only turn on with a tap. I didnt want to see it every time I flicked my wrist. That also takes away from batter life. There are likely other settings and such that decrease battery life, but as of right now I have been using it since July 9th, and it is the 17th at time of writing this. I have 32% battery left. 10 days is likely accurate.

BONUS: although it says that it does NOT have ECG app for AFIB detection, it does. Sorta. "while it can't take an ECG like the more expensive Fitbit Charge 5 or newer smartwatches, it will monitor your heart rate and alert you if it detects an irregular heart rhythm".

WATCH BAND STYLE: I wish I noticed this or thought to ask before purchasing. This has the PIN release style watch band. Since I like to swap out my bands frequently, I am not a fan of the pin style. Made extra annoying as this is a small unit and therefor extra small pin system. That being said, I havent had any real problem swapping out. Mostly just a nuisance. However, I went ahead and ordered a Charge 5 because that has the push button release. I like how the Fitbits are now just including a size small as well as a size large band size. I have 7" wrist, and prefer the large band over the small. Gives me more wiggle room. I also like the regular traditional watch band style (slots with pin, then slip through securing band-- like any old school watch). Some models use a slip through band which always made me think it was unsecure. So I always just bought new bands of preferred style. Overall I can wear this just fine as is.

    WORD OF CAUTION:
The 4 star rating takes into account that I dont see in the description any info pertaining to the "pin" release style of band. Maybe I missed it. I also factor in that this CANNOT be used in conjunction with other models. I figured I could swap between the Charge 5 and this, depending on what I want to wear that day. Nope. This will have to be cleared from app before another one could use. I noticed this when I was putting this online to replace my Fitbit Sense. I had to deactivate the Sense to add this. And now that I have a Charge 5 coming, I will have to deactiveate this. I wanted to be able to try them out side by side to determine which I like most before giving one away. Boo/hiss.

LASTLY, I decided to stop buying the smart watches, as in the Versa or Sense. I found that I wasnt using most of the additional features. None lasted more than a year or two for me anyway. This Inspire 3 and Charge 5 have all that I want, and nothing I dont. Comes down to personal preference. I have a Garmin Vivosmart that has lasted forever, but it never seems as accurate for basic movement (good for intentional exercise), basic walks, and the app is yuck. Whereas I really like the Fitbit app. I like the product, but are basically throw away items for me (whereas my husband is still wearing his Fitbit Blaze from several years ago).

I'll update if I experience anything worth sharing, especially if anything negative.

I bought this becuase i really wanted something simple to just track my steps and my sleep cycle and I love it ! You get a free trial for 6 months on the Fitbit App and it’s pretty cool. It keeps me motivated and I’m happy with the product. The only thing about this watch I disliked was that the charging cable wouldn’t connect so I contacted Fitbit directly on thier website and they sent me a replacement cable free of charge (they mentioned that I had a limited warranty) which is nice. They delivered it fast so I’m happy with it overall.
Oh and the battery on this is AMAZING. I charge it every 4-5 days, so it’s very durable.

The shape of it is odd. It’s like a rectangle at the top and curved at the bottom which makes it sit weird on your wrist and the thickness of it doesn’t help at all. Not sure if I’m keeping it or not. On the + side the app works well and the features of the watch work. Just bad design I guess.

Update: My headphones keep cutting out with the Fitbit connected and I can’t disconnect the Fitbit unless i click forget this device which basically means I can’t use it anymore. When I tried to contact Fitbit they said: we’re aware of this issue and are trying to resolve it. I need music to workout so this is kinda a done deal
