I WANT TO GIVE 5 stars so bad but after a year of only using this blanket during cold season for me and my cat. This blanket only works in some spots which is so frustrating I tried contacting the support but messages and emails keep bouncing back. But when it did work 5/5

Perfect size blanket. The heat settings are great it gets very warm compared to others I’ve had in the past. The feel of the blanket is silky smooth. Would buy again.

When I got one of these as a throw, it was wonderful. This time, I got a twin size blanket, and on a high setting, it barely gets warm. And had I noticed it will turn off after 2 hours, I wouldn't have bought it at all! Back it goes!!

My comments are simple, a product is great because it does what i want it to and is of good build quality or it doesn't do what i want it to do and is crap. This is a great product.

A must buy! The blanket alone is so soft and comfortable. The heating part is perfect. I gave it 4 stars because I ordered white but it’s actually a light butter color.

One side stopped working after 1 week.. it E 4 on me smh.. I loved the feel of it so very upset ... The company made it right .. I would def do business with them again...

TERRIBLE PRODUCT! I bought two of these and they BOTH stopped working within 6 months. Unfortunately,I waited too long to reach out so it’s tough luck. Soft attractive fabric, but it’s not a plus if the blanket doesn’t work. 🤬

Well that didnt last long. For the first week it was great. Now it is about 30% working it gets warm spots that still heat up while the rest of the blanket is not heating at all.

Upon opening the first thing I noticed was the material was thin and the rose pattern wasn't as prominent as expected, I plugged it up to test the heating and it seemed to have a lot of space between heating wires, leaving areas not warm, overall I can't recommend this heating blanket, for the money there's too many better options available, Im considering returning it. Quality was not as expected.

I’ve had this blanket for 3 years and love it. I’ve recently started having this issue where one of my blanket ports will not work. No matter what controller or outlet I use, it gives error code E4 and won’t heat.

This may only last one winter but it gets very hot. Have the twin size much bigger than the throw size. Will purchase again next year when this stops working

This blanket is extremely soft and pretty, but it doesn't last long after washing. I followed instructions carefully and the second one I bought still died after one wash. The first one lasted maybe ten washes.

While the blanket only heats on one side, it does a "so, so" job in the winter. What I dont like at all, it sheds material. So if wearing blsck pants, it looks like cat hairs all over you

Very very warm. I have horrible circulation and am extremely cold especially at night. This ensures I can stay warm. After level 4 it starts to get pretty hot. So definitely does what it needs to. It's machine washable! And I can dry it in the dryer! Wash it with cold water and on low dry. It's supper soft and fuzzy. Looks exactly like the one int the picture, not too thing but not thick either. Beware the fuzz does fall off and get on clothing and on the sheets.

The blanket is great we have it on the bed even now, if you get chilly during the day ight just flip it on to get the chill off, can’t wait till winter to really use it 🤦‍♀️😉🤷‍♀️what am I saying

I absolutely LOVE this blanket. My last one (another brand) got very, very hot but this one stays a perfect temperature. It heats up quickly and with the timer, it stays warm all night long! I will say that I wanted a white one because my bedding is all pure white but it is more of a cream color but I love it anyway! I highly recommend this blanket.

My family absolutely loves this heated blanket. Let me tell you why. This is my second one (because my daughter and I fight over the original one I bought over a year ago)…so I now own two of this exact blanket.

1. Customer service- I emailed the company when my original blanket was having an error on the control box. They immediately identified the problem and sent me a replacement control box for free very quickly.
2. The blanket works great and heats well even after washing.
3. It has lasted me over a year, which is a pretty long life for a heated blanket that we use daily.
4. It’s adorable and soft.

Very warm and pretty thin. I like the softness of the blanket, but it tends to shed a bit. No complaints about the quality overall other than shedding. Good color match for the rest of the bedding.

I bought one of these about 5 years ago and it was great. Figured I would repeat because it lasted so long and was great, I should have not. Quality has went down and the stitching is falling apart right out of the bag. Not as soft eland I’m pretty sure they sent me the wrong size because the throw that I had was bigger than the twin size that I ordered. Very disappointed.

For whatever reason, one of the sides of my blanket stopped working after a year and the customer care department was very accommodating, honoring the warranty that was included with the blanket. I’m so happy because I sleep with this blanket 365 days a year and travel overnight NOWHERE without it. So, I’m relieved that they were so responsive and sent a replacement, hopefully arriving by tomorrow. I give the product and the customer service FIVE SHINY STARS 🌟 and highly recommend it.

Well made and super soft. I'm not a fan of Sherpa generally but this one is soft and hasn't gotten matted (so far). The heat isn't as hot as other blankets I've gotten but the warmth is still comforting.

My favorite part is the dual controls. I keep one side very warm and one a bit cooler. My pets are obsessed with the warmer side. They no longer smother me in my sleep trying to get warm. Best sleep I've had in decades merely because I now don't have to bend and twist around my heat seeking pets. Pure bliss.

So this is a blanket that was replaced by woomer, my first nice fleece blanket took a Crap, So they replaced it with this piece of junk. This blanket moves all over the place, because it is too thin and not heavy enough, And not wide enough to tuck in.. I am constantly having to pull it down on the left side of bed. Measurements of the blanket should have been wider so you could at least tuck it in on each side. It barely even covers the mattress.. I had a woomer fleece blanket before and it was wide enough to tuck in fully on each side. This one does not tuck in only goes as far as the mattress goes down. Very disappointed. As for customer service they were contacted three times after they sent me this piece of crap replacement blanket with absolutely no response whatsoever from them. Half of the blanket does not even work. PS the only way this blanket is going to get warm is with you in it generating the heat, Or if you put a huge thick blanket on top of the electric blanket.. Even at the # seven setting it still does not get hot. You have to put it on eight or nine to preheat bed for 3 hours to feel the heat When you get into bed. So many things wrong with this product.

I bought this for my mom because she’s constantly cold. She loves it and it works great. The only downside to it is that if you’re wearing dark colored clothes, it does kind of shed. However, I have to be honest we did not wash it first so maybe that’ll make the difference.

Some and perfect. Trying to save money and turned the thermostat down this winter and this is the perfect heated throw to make it warmer!!! Works perfectly, even to sit on top of... animals all love it as well.

The blanket heats well but shuts off with the slightest wrinkle. It trips a code that is not identified in the operating manual. The blanket has to be 100% lying flat. If you toss and turn while sleeping again it shuts off. There are two completly seperate controllers that plug into the wall. Not much more I can say, maybe consider a quality name brand blanket.

I love the look and feel of this blanket, reminds me of rabbit fur. The delivery following order was expedient. Regarding heat output, not any different from other blankets. I was looking for a much higher temperature rated blanket however this will suffice as I test other options. What I like about this blanket too, is the 5 year warranty. All my other heating blankets only last a year or two with daily use. I guess I see how this one stands up and/or if I'll need to use the warranty.

This is a warming throw you'll want to use because it's as soft and warm as a box of kittens. Keep the warranty because if it needs replacing you will want another just like it. If you have a closet full of warming blankets and throws this is going to be the one you reach for.

Received one of these last winter. About a year later the control until had an error message (e4). Contacted customer service about what to do to reset it. Received a response back in less than 24hrs. Sent in a video of the issue and with in a few days they had sent a brand new replacement. Very satisfied with the customer service, very timely and courteous interactions over email.

I am pleased with this electric blanket and the fact that I can control the settings on both sides of the bed. The plug ins are at the head of my bed and the chords that connect to the bed are plenty long and I was able to run them underneath the bed.
The blanket is soft to the touch and is not bulky at all. I love that it has so many heat settings and that the timer can be set for up to 12 hours. I love mine so much that I purchased one for my son, as well.
As a bonus, my cats love it, too!

After reading many positive reviews I was excited to receive this blanket, sadly I’m pretty disappointed. While the pattern is cute and the material is plush and soft that’s about all I liked about it. This blanket it’s SO thin you can feel the wires. The control is bulky and is very easy to accidentally change settings or turn off. There is a substantial amount around the entire perimeter of the blanket that has no heating element, at least 15” on the sides and a good 8-10” on the top and bottom. My biggest gripe was how unevenly it heated some parts felt overly warm while others left me chilly. I found myself constantly having to shift the blanket around to move the heat. Will be returning .

We bought this product feb of 23 it is soft like a blanket yet warms like electric blanket. In december 24 i got a error code on one controller. I was just going to get another blanket . I wrote company because it said 5 year warranty. I did not expect something almost 2 years old to be replaced totally . All they needed was original order number and a video of control and blanket. I had a new blanket same as original in 2 days no charge to me. I definitely will buy from this company again. And their boanket is soft not scratchy!

We purchased this blanket last year, and used it for the few months of winter. It worked really well! Of note is that fact that it is very slippery, which means that we constantly have to straighten it during the night. Also, it is quite heavy.
Unfortunately we recently brought it back out for this winter, and one side of it (it is dual control) is only heating at 50% capacity, so that side, set to 10, is about as warm as the other side, set to 5.

This blanket works fabulously, feels luxurious, and looks elegant,Warmth can be controlled beautifully and it feels glorious to the touch BUT it slips off the bed easily; by morning the blanket is somewhere else!

Another interesting fact is that the blanket comes in a vacuum sealed plastic bag which means it is tightly compressed. Compression is great for shipping but not great when you want to return the blanket. Once it expands the blanket becomes large enough to destroy its box while trying to reinsert it in that box. Since I couldn’t close it original box I had to place it in the Amazon box. Then there is the Amazon box. The Amazon box is made with a surface that packaging tape will not stick to. It took two wraps completely around the box to keep it closed.

I'd say overpriced for a very "meh" product. The feel to it is great but the cabling is pretty bad as it doesn't snap/connect fully into the blanket and can even fall out during the night. The panel to control heat requires 2 outlets with 2 control devices that both stay on the entire time and can throw off your sleep with how bright they are, and the heating is really bad as even at the setting of both 4 and 5 I got multiple burns on my feet/legs when I moved to a spot that had apparently been super cooking itself. Overall I'd say try somewhere else as getting burned constantly really is what ruined the product for me

Purchased my blanket a few months ago and it was perfect. Never had to turn it up very high, very soft and comfortable, only issue I had was it would slip down my bed all the time no matter what blankets I put it between. After about a month or so half of the blanket stopped heating all together and the heating it’s self weakened. I have to turn it up to 8 now where I only had to have it at 4 before. Decent enough blanket, just not great considering the price.

In order to have a good warranty you need good customer service and this company as 10/10 customer service. They responded quickly and efficiently. They were kind and accommodating. I'm greatful that they handle the situation so quickly and without any hassle or back and forth. I would 100% recommend them and their blankets. I am a very happy customer.

This blanket was great at first was very soft an comfortable to cozy up in, heat was great in it. Definitely keeps you warm. BUT as soon as you wash it and I followed the instructions on how to wash it to make sure it came back the as it was. It most definitely did not. Heat still works but I won’t even use the blanket anymore. The once very soft a cozy part went all away. Does not feel at all what it once was and it’s horrible wish it did wasn’t bad till it had to be cleaned so very sad I had high hopes for it

Had this blanket for 6 months. Obviously during the summer months I didn’t turn this heated blanket on. In the last few days, I’ve started having a lot of problems with the cord. One of them stopped working completely. Kept getting an “f1” on the screen and the blanket wouldn’t heat up at all. So I started using the cord for the other side. Already I’m starting to have issues. There’s no f1 on the screen, but it will randomly stop heating after 5 minutes. Not a great heating feature at all!!!

I had this blanket for a couple years when it stopped working out of nowhere. I contacted the manufacturer and after a couple videos showing that it was broken, they got my info and sent me a new one with a new warranty. Great company to work with. Highly recommend them & this blanket.

This is my second so I can have one at my camper and at home!!!! These blankets are super soft and I rarely ever turn it above #1. (even if the power is out- they keep you warmer longer!!) I ordered the gray this time!! HIGHLY recommend!!! (Great gift idea for Christmas, birthday Mother/Father’s Day as well as home bound patients!!!

I use this super soft and comfy blanket @ work because it is always freezing! It's a good size and not too big. I wish it would heat up more sometimes, but it keeps me toasty. It does turn off on it's own, but I always disconnect it. It works perfect for me.

The WOOMER heated blanket works very well while being super soft and comfortable. Purchased in King Size, I have absolutely loved this heated blanket as have my pets.
This size blanket comes with two temperature setting controllers. This has been great for my husband and I to control our sides of the blanket. I prefer a warmer setting while he prefers a lower heat setting. Both our dog and cat really appreciate the blanket and will curl up to go straight to sleep. This blanket easily covers our entire bed and produces great heat throughout. The wires inside the blanket are hardly noticeable, because the fabric of the blanket is incredibly soft and comfortable. Living in an older home, this is perfect for cold nights during winter months.
The only difficulty with this blanket having two heat controllers is having two plugs- one for each controller. We found that having the blanket upside down was easier to reach the outlets instead of having cords running throughout the room. This can sometimes be tricky when getting in or out of the bed, but we have found simple work-arounds.
Overall, I am very impressed with the WOOMER heated blanket, how well it functions, and how soft the material is! We love this heated blanket and cannot wait for the cooler months to use it again!

I have to say I waited about anyear to write this review and I did not get anything free or sponsored just love a cozy blanket! This blanket has been so great its heavier so its like a weighted blanket and heated blanket in one, and as I said I used this blanket just about every day for a year even in the summer (maybe not turned on then) but it is still heating up like a charm!! It is washable and I have had no issue with it washing it regularly like I would my other blankets, the material is still just as soft. Its everything I was hoping for so I just wanted to make sure to hype it up so other people get great products too as it can be difficult to decipher between good and bad quality online.

This heated blanket gets extremely warm quickly. The first time I used it I set to max temp but then turned it to half power, and my dog fell asleep on it instantly. It is so soft, feels great on the skin, and you can barely feel/sense the wires that are hidden in the blanket. Great for those cold nights, or if you want that straight out the dryer warmth feel. Though I wish one controller controlled the entire blanket. I suppose this might be good for people who share a blanket, but for me it just makes an extra mess of wires in my room. Not that big of deal and it is worth it for how warm and comfortable this blanket is.

It is pricey at $150, but I like that it comes with 2 controllers, his and hers. It is overall easy to use.

I am totally freaking out over this beautiful luxurious feeling comforter! This has a sherpa feel to it, which to me is like pure heaven. I love the color, it's so comfortable to sleep with! It looks great on my bed.
I love the fact that it has two different dials one for each side of the bed so that if I don't want to experience heat on my side I don't have to and vice versa! This king size comforter is by far the most comfortable one I've ever experienced! I think everyone needs to try this at least one time there's not a thing I would change about this it's absolutely perfect and it puts out hate quickly but not too much. I'm one of those people who cannot sleep while I'm hot and this is perfect for me! Especially on cold nights! And this also comes with a super easy to use timer that I for an hour or two after I fall asleep so that I don't wake up overheated and sweaty!

Could not be more pleased with this beautiful heated blanket!!! It is SO SOFT. The fabric is just wonderfully cozy and looks so pretty. The blanket warms up quickly, and the King Size has controllers on both sides, which worked out perfectly for movie night with my friend. We are never the same temperature, so him being able to heat his side and my being able to heat mine was GREAT! Though it was so comfy we nearly fell asleep during the movie we were watching. :)

The timer option is fantastic because it allows me to set it for just an hour when I go to bed, taking the chill off the bedding, letting me fall asleep all cozy and snug, but not baking me through out the night. PERFECT!

I loved my heated blanket for a month and 2 days. Then it randomly stopped working, unfortunately 2 days after the return date. It doesn’t heat up and the box just blinks. I have been trying to reach somebody to utilize the warranty but I can’t get anybody to reach back to me. Seems to be out of China.

Hopefully I can revise my review when somebody gets back to me.

But for now I’ll stick with 1 star.

Great product and price, my husband and I love having 2 different controls to each control our side. I ordered a second one to bring with me as a I work far from home!

This blanket is the best I use it everyday especially now that it gets cold at night! I love that I can have the heat timed for up to two hours and It ranges from 1-9 in temperature 9 gets really heated that it makes me sweat! I usually like to “preheat” my bed about 30 minutes before bed using a temp around 4 or 5 depending on how cold it is and then I shut it off and it keeps me warm and toasty all night long.

I ordered a replacement through Amazon which had the exact same problem as the first. The seller contacted me and worked quickly to make it right. They immediately sent me a replacement which has been working great. I am very happy with the product

The first 5 minutes were glorious. Why I have I waited 38 to treat myself to cozy warmth without 12 blankets. I tried all the best settings and after the first few minutes only about a third of the coils were warm. The ones that were, were. The rest were ice cold. The blanket itself is super soft though.

I bought this for my girlfriend that’s always cold. She loved it the first time I gave it too her she got so cozy she fell asleep in minutes. She uses it every day and it constantly moves back and forth from the bedroom to the living room all is well until mid December. We have had it for about 6 months and now only 1/2 the blanket works. She loves how soft it is but has to limit herself to just the left half for it to be warm. It’s a good quality blanket and when it work she loves it to death just wish it lasted us longer.

First, I did not dislike this heated throw at all - in fact, I loved it - while it lasted. The first one lasted under one year, so I had to take pictures and videos to send to the vendor. They were very nice and sent me a new blanket. Unfortunately, that would quit working after six months, so I just decided to get a different brand. It's a nice, warm throw and if you don't mind contacting the vendor and swapping them out ever so often, then it's fine, but I had two and neither of them lasted very long. :( I still use them both as throw blankets, but unfortunately, they no longer heat.

I took a chance and purchased this though there were some negative reviews. It did just what reviewers were saying. Quit working after a couple of months. We tried the trouble shooting tips and it heated up again but then stopped working after a short time and trouble shooting tips are not working now. It was a gift for my daughter and she lives in another state so I do not have any of the required information to contact the manufacturer. Wished I would have purchased a brand I'm more familiar with. Waste of money. I could have returned it with Amazon the first time it quit working but now the return window is closed.

I depend on Amazon reviews when deciding my purchases, so I thought I'd give a review on this electric blanket for others considering buying it. This blanket stopped working after only a year and a half; I did all the troubleshooting outlined on both their website and manual. Nothing helped. I am so disappointed (it was a warm blanket and worked well during that time, no complaints there). But I am glad at the same time to know it comes with a 5-yr warranty. If you are like me, this warranty is compelling and one of the main reasons I purchased it.

I've reached out to the manufacturer twice and have not heard back so far. I'll give it another week and come back to update you on whether they decide honor the warranty.

UPDATE-1/28/23
The company finally contacted me after a delay and agreed to honor the warranty. They replaced the same color/style blanket and it came within two weeks, so that was good. I am now increasing the rating from one star to 4 because they did come through finally. Plus the blanket really is a nice one, warm and comfy. I really like the product. IF this one can last at least 5 years, great, but if I have to replace it again before that time, I will keep you updated here.

Updated Review: So I had trouble with my throw blanket after a few months. Reading the reviews from others, mine seemed to be the exception. Woomer reached out to me about my defective blanket and immediately replaced it with the same one.My new throw blanket is perfect. It’s so incredibly soft and gets nice and toasty warm evenly throughout the blanket. I love a company that stands by their product. Now, I don’t know how the second blanket got lost either in packing or in the delivery process, but I ordered it here and had other delivery issues at the holidays so I’m thinking the error on the missing second blanket was not Woomer’s error. I think it was in this site. Woomer issued a refund for the missing blanket but because there was some credit card fraud in my area at the gas pumps, I used a prepaid debit card to order my Christmas gifts last December. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea where my refund went. I was going to put the refund towards a bed full sized Woomer blanket for my bed. If I’m ever able to track down where the refund went that will be my plan. For now, I am enjoying my new electric throw blanket. Even the colors are beautiful.

Original review: Didn’t last. Coming undone. I accidentally put the review in the wrong place. This blanket is the one I received. I had orders 2 and only received one. And then purchased a replacement for the missing one from another brand as it was a Christmas gift, so I mixed them up. This is the one I received that I guess is defective maybe?

It’s a good blanket and gets hot, but I have to complain about the two sides thing. It’s just weird to me to have two remotes for 1 blanket. When you want both sides of the blanket on, you have to walk around to the other side to turn on the other remote and match the settings. And you can’t curl up in the blanket because two opposite ends are plugged into the wall and the cords will strangle you. If you and your partner have very different preferences, I think you’d be better off just getting two smaller blankets instead of one big one with two sides.

Ended up sending two back. After a few days, it would warm up by my head, but the middle and foot area didn’t warm at all. Very disappointed!

I loved this even before I opened the box. It was very light weight compared to past blankets I have had. It is so soft and cozy. When I wash it, I’m sure it will be easier due to the light weight. Even so, it warms my bed up fine on the lowest setting. I usually warm up my bed before going to bed then turn the blanket off. This makes my bed almost too hot to crawl in to. I may have to update my rating if it doesn’t last or wash well, but I do not expect to have to.

We loved this blanket…until it stopped working. We’ve owned it for about a year and suddenly it will not heat and shows error code F1. I have an extreme form of Reynauds and I am cold year round. I needed something to fit my bed. I got a queen size blanket in the icy gray color and it overflowed over the sides of the mattress perfectly and looks good with my all white bedding. I was worried about using a heating blanket on my tempurpedic bed, but my warmth is more important. *It turns out it's fine putting an electric blanket on my memory foam bed especially since I have a foam topper on top of the tempurpedic mattress. I slept with this soft cloud of comfort last night with the setting on L (low) and I don't think I moved all night! I was warm, but not too warm and I could not be more happy! There were no areas that were hotter than others and feels like a super soft blanket. No wirey areas like some electric blankets.

I love this blanket. I love how soft it is. The cord though to control stopped working. They have a 5 year warranty. I reached out. It took a couple weeks to get a replacement cord but it did come. However I went to use it and it was no good. I reached out again and they did issue a refund. So even though I’m bummed the blanket doesn’t heat anymore, they did honor the warranty.

This is an update to my original review. As I said, I purchased two of these and both stopped working. I couldn't reach the company through their site, but they were kind and proactive enough to notice my bad review and give me a refund on the second one. I greatly appreciate a company that stands by their product and offers good customer service, so they get stars back for that. I wish they'd offered a refund for both items, but at least it's a better outcome than I expected.

This is the nicest heated blanket I've ever seen or had. I wish it got hotter but by no means is it not sufficient. It is cozy and pretty, too, which is a novelty with heated blankets in my experience. Totally giftable.

Blanket slides off and into the middle of the bed several times during the night defeating the purpose of having an electric blanket at all.
You need to change the fabric used for the blanket

This blanket is very warm. Traveled to Canada in the winter and bring it along. This was a lifesaver. Although the cords are a bit bulky it served it’s purpose and was very comfortable. The dual zone was additionally helpful as my husband and I like different temperatures

I like the lightweight softness. I didn't like waking up at 5am to husband clicking the controls. I will need to remember to set the timer for a longer period. The blanket does not get as warm as I believed it would. I don't know why.

The first blanket I bought worked for 5 months. The blanket where it connects had a malfunction.

The company was very quick to send another one.

Just set up the blanket to try before my trip, making sure it all works good - and it all set up quite easily, just followed the instructions - start at the H setting so it warms up faster - then reduce the heat level from there for your comfort. But got under it and it was quite cozy and warm, even down to my toes! Which was great! I could have fallen asleep for sure, but had to get back to work. Overall- I like it, it’s a little on the light side or thinner than expected, however I believe with the heat on you should get warm and it seems that it should do the job! It was very cozy!
Don’t know why the instructions state - Do not use if diabetic. It did not explain. Hope this helps.

This is my 2nd one and I just recieved it last night. I apologize for how I returned the 1st one as I made the return at 2am and ups showed up at about noon unexpectedly. Anyway the first one after a week of use the heat wasn't working the same even on high it stopped heating up. For the price I expected it to last longer than a week. The 2nd one showed up quickly and there was no issues with the return. As I said I'll update this review later based on how this one works.

We purchased this blanket about a year ago now and absolutely loved it. However it has quit working! I’ve tried to contact the company for support but have received no response.

With the 5 year warranty advertised we are hoping to receive a replacement.

EDIT: After using it for a while now, I'm updating my review. I was originally disappointed with the level of warmth. Adding a flannel sheet on top has solved that, and it gets plenty warm now that the heat is trapped a bit. I hadn't wanted to to that, because the plaid is so darn cute. I wanted to use this blanket either alone, or on top of a flannel sheet. I have a heated throw from Costco on the couch, and had been moving it to the bed on top of my other bedding for the night, but that was getting old, and its only a small throw, so I got this full size, thinking it would work the same. It does not (for me) warm enough to use alone or on top of bedding.
BUT, in the end, it does warm sufficiently with an added layer on top, the timer feature is great, and the plaid is super cute. It is thin, but soft, and the heating wires are not noticable.
Would I buy again? Maybe. If I hadn't wanted it to be the top layer, to see that cute plaid, probably yes. Esp considering other brands can be much more expensive.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: With heating oil prices through the roof, I wanted to turn down the thermostat. I turn it on about an hour before going to bed, and its at least not freezing when I get in. Cranked up to high, its warmish. I do like being able to choose the length of time its on, but I wish it were warmer. Also it seems only the middle wires get warm. I almost sent it back but going to give it a few more nights first.

If you put this blanket on 10, it gets pretty hot! I removed a star because the remotes are big and clunky so that part is uncomfortable. I don’t want to feel wires while laying down. Also, you can only hand wash it which is something I didn’t think about before ordering. Overall, I think it does its job by heating up very quickly and can keep me warm in the winter. The wires just takes some getting used to.

This blanket is fantastic! It’s extremely plush and comfortable. I love that it has several heat settings and a timer, so you can customize your level of warmth. It’s fairly large, too, and the cord is long in case your outlet isn’t super close to your seating or bed. With winter coming up I see it getting lots of use, so I’m just keeping it on the couch.

Very soft, lightweight, beautiful color, & great range of temperature control. I would've given 5 stars, except the blanket only heats in the middle. There's a large area around the edges with no wiring, so it tends to leave my feet cold while my lap is nice and toasty warm.

I used this during the night when it’s cold outside and the cool air seeps into the house (it has not yet hit the coldest part of winter, it’s still fall and only partly there temperature wise).

By itself, the heated blanket did a poor job of warming me up and keeping me warm during a cold night, even on max heat (heat level goes from 1-10, I had it on 10). It seemed that the heat generated would escape through the very thin and light weight blanket. AND shortly after turning it onto max, the controller got hot to the touch, so that was a HUGE concern that the controller would overheat or was overheating and would lead to damages.

But then I tried the product along with my comforter, it worked like a charm! With the comforter laying completely over the heated blanket, heat level 2 or 3 is enough for me to stay nice and toasty throughout the entire night (any higher I was on the verge of sweating), AND the controller did not seem to over heat at all.

The blanket itself is super soft, light weight, and fairly comfortable. Only markdowns for comfort is that you can clearly feel the heating wires through the thin/lightweight blanket, but the wires are thinner and lighter side. The blanket by itself will not suffice on a colder night, and the controller seems to get very hot shortly after putting the settings to max. Those negatives brought the blanket rating to 3 stars because I fear ever putting the blanket on max or near max (so I wonder what the point of having that setting) AND I have to use it along side another blanket in order for this heated blanket to be satisfactory (without another blanket, I would have deemed the product useless).

Again, I was able to manipulate the use of the blanket to make it work for me, so I am still happy/satisfied with my purchase, but with everything else considered, the product itself gets a 3-star rating.
