Installation instructions and home screen language is German! Was able to install and everything loaded in english, but it still gives
me instruction in German.

I specifically ordered a Ruku that had the Paramount+ shortcut button. The one I received has Amazon Prime instead. The device works great and set up was a breeze. I just wish it came with the remote I ordered. I would return it, but I ordered it as I needed a replacement and the delivery was already rescheduled twice.

It’s a great device, except Roku continues to revert back to the default screensaver WITHOUT MY CONSENT. The default screensaver is a bouncing Roku logo. I have cats. Anyone with cats will tell you what a NIGHTMARE this is. So I changed it to Digital Clock, which doesn’t bounce around. Yet everytime they push a firmware update they REVERT BACK TO THE DEFAULT SCREENSAVER. I can’t tell you how many times my cats have nearly ripped the TV off the wall. When they do, I will be sure to send Roku the bill.

I paid full price for this item, and it was used. The device was not sealed, you could tell the remote had been used because there was nothing in between the batteries. all I keep getting our errors. Our other Roku’s we’re very easy to install, but not this one. This will be returned.

I bought a new Roku for my LG TV because the old Express version was overheating and I couldn't watch certain apps. Installed the Roku stick and it's worse than the express. I can't look at YouTube at all because the screen goes black even when I try to sign in. I think my TV is too old to handle it so until then I might switch back to the express model.

When I first got it, it was great. I even bought a second one to replace a fire stick. I gotta say that it is WAY better than the fire stick because it doesn't require me to empty the cache to free up space. So that means no buffering like the fire stick would do after a while. However, when I try to select a show to watch, it doesn't move to the very next selection. It will skip one, two or even more selections, and jump to a random show. It does this in the vertical and the horizontal directions. It's worse in the horizontal direction. It makes selecting a show more like a game of "whack-a-mole" and very frustrating! I've tried replacing the batteries and it doesn't help. And yes, it happens on both Roku devices I bought. I've Googled it, and it seems to be a common problem with no apparent remedy, but I'm still looking.

Not wiped, hastily packaged and the remote still had the previous owners location of where they had it in their home. Worst of all, all accounts on this Roku are still active from the previous owner. Unacceptable, and if I were not an honest person I could have a dozen free channels and they would never know, because they are all still linked, and all still working.

Can't give this 1 or 2 stars as I have 2 other versions of Roku streamers and they all work great. This one after setup worked great then I got a HDMI connection problem and nada. It no longer worked. Plugged it into my other projector and same thing.

One thing that bummed me out is that this does not have BT for connecting external speakers like Firesticks do. Couldn't connect my soundbar. I thought I read it had BT but read the fine print I think it may just be for the remote. Too bad.

Another thing that's a little annoying is that the stick had no wire adapter so you're plugging this straight into the device with no wiggle room. Fine for TVs but for projectors you have some cumbersome issues. The antenna power wire also goes in the side of the stick and depending where and how your port is oriented makes for an awkward install.

Roku makes a fine streaming device but for me this one is going back due to the HDMI connection issue and I'll probably stick to Firesticks since they have BT to connect audio devices.

P.S. If you're thinking the HDMI connection issue is with a Amazon device because the 2nd pic says to go to Amazon for video help it's because I'm in the Prime Video app on the RoKu. Again I have 2 other Roku streamers but prefer Firesticks because they allow external BT speaker connections.

I recently went fully into streaming. One of my TVs was older than the rest, so I tried my son's Firestick to see it if would be capable of handling the streaming. It worked well. However, I decided to get the ROKU streaming stick because I used to use ROKU and liked it. The last 2 weeks, I've gotten a message on startup that an HDCP Error had been detected and I have to unplug and plug in the stick to get it going. While that works, I should not have to do that at all...expecially with a new ROKU streaming stick. I'm pretty disappointed with ROKU.
