I badly injured my ankle a couple weeks before Thanksgiving when I stepped on a soccer ball. I could barely walk without a heavy limp and was icing it for weeks. I tried an old ankle brace I had, and while it helped a bit, it still allowed too much give and hiking or long walks were painful. I also used compression socks, which helped with everyday support, and I saw a chiropractor, which was useful. But the ZOELION ankle brace made the biggest difference.

Once my ankle had a bit more strength, I put this brace on and got back on the soccer pitch. I started light, but now it’s the third week of January and I just played four games in a weekend tournament without any issues. Anyone who plays soccer knows how much lateral movement we do and how important ankle support is. With this brace I was able to play without pain and my ankle feels fine.

My son has sprained in ankle in baseball several times. It was almost a requirement for him to have one of these in order for him to continue playing baseball. It's not too bulky and had nice support straps so that you can adjust the support wherever needed. It gave him the stability he needed while his ankle was fully healing. Would buy again

This is a good product. First of all, it is worth the price it is and it was a good purchase. I injured my ankle pretty badly and cannot tilt it sideways without it hurting a lot. With this brace being a good balance between comfort, compression, and stability, I can run pretty much full speed without pain. It is able to adapt a little bit, being able to stretch and tighten to your likeness. It is a sleek and compact brace that isn't too thick, which allows the foot to fit in a shoe still with the brace on, which is very nice. The velcro quality seems good with no issues of it not sticking or coming apart after multiple uses. It kept my injury from hurting more while playing basketball and football on. The support on the side is also somewhat customizable to where you can angle it differently on the side of your ankle depending on where the injury is, which seems very handy. Obviously it is not going to stop 100% of the pain or discomfort, it is not magic, but it is definitely a really great ankle brace that was worth its price. I definitely recommend this product!

Got this for my mild-medium sprained ankle. It offers great comfortable support and compression. I am able to comfortably wear my sneakers with these, as long as I slightly loosen my shoe laces for more room. I walked around for 6 hours with the brace on and my ankle feels well supported. The material is well made and durable.

I bought this ankle support. I found it very comfortable and easy to adjust. It's like tying your shoes. The materials are good, and they don't bother me after wearing it for several hours. It gives me a good feeling of stability when walking. I really like it.

This is very awkward to put on. It is very bulky. I chose this item because somebody said it was great to wear with a shoe. It is not it cannot be worn with a shoe at all. It is a high-quality item and it was nice for bracing my foot at night. It is not something I could wear for a long period of time and not something I could really effectively wear during the day. Does not fit in a shoe in any way that I can tell. Despite what somebody said cannot be worn with a shoe of any sort because the sides are extremely thick and the pads come underneath it in a way that would not fit in a shoe with sides at all

This is a heavy-duty ankle brace with several levels of support. First are the laces. They look a bit old-school, but the upper and lower laces are each connected to a velcro flap so that you can pull them in opposite directions for a secure fit. The next step is the wrap-around velcro straps. These cross over the front of your foot, wrap underneath, and anchor up the sides of your ankle with a stiffer band. Altogether, these layers reduce the ability to flex your foot forward and back, and the vertical straps help keep side-to-side movement in check. A final set of shorter straps at the top locks everything in place.
You can tighten each section to get pretty firm support, though it won’t fully immobilize the joint. Out of all the ankle braces I’ve used, this one gives the most support, but it’s also bulkier because of the stabilizer pads on both sides. Unfortunately, with it on, I can't get my foot into my running shoes. This is something I can wear for stability walking around, but not for activity.

After purchasing and returning 5 other advised wraps/boot for ankle stabilization due to PTTD, this one finally works! Nothing will completely remove all the pain, but this one allows me to walk short distances without being in extreme pain. I can wear a shoe comfort with it also. Very easy to put on (read the directions first time). The design is very friendly for use. The stretch is perfect. Moderately priced and well worth it! The gift compression sleeve was a nice touch. Highly recommended! Hoping to purchase another to swap out for laundering.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Used this brace to transition after 8 weeks out of a stabilization boot for 3 avulsion fractures and tendon/ligament damage. It worked very well, was easy to put on.  The compression sleeve was very comfortable and held up to washing.  The exterior wrap was was to use, though slightly uncomfortable under the foot and I had to adjust it multiple times during the day.  I am on my feet all day and did feel secure in it.  The one con of the product is it doesn't easily fit into my normal shoes or sandals; I ended up having to buy a pair of slides for wide width in a pinch and while working I had to use lace-up shoes. Not a huge deal but know that it doesn't fit in every shoe.  I wore it for 2 and a half weeks consistently and it did it's job.  

This is a very good system for wrapping your ankle, it holds tight and provides good support. It has a Velcro based quick lace system, I can have my ankle wrapped up in less than a minute. I can have it as tight or as loose as I want. It provides very good support once done up. The only downside is that I can not fit my foot into my shoe with this support on, so I can't use it at the gym. I have been using it around the house and it's very helpful for going up and down the stairs. At the time of this review, it's priced at $29.99 which, in my opinion is good value.

Just keeping this short and insignificant because Amazon without a known reason nixed my original lengthy and detailed review. Very disappointing. Fortunately the brace is not disappointing. It may prove marginally too bulky for those with very tight footwear but otherwise this brace feels quite good and very good in the minor tweak department, adjusting individual straps.

I broke my ankle a few weeks ago and have transitioned to an ankle brace. I have used similar wrap-style ankle braces in the past, but this is my new favourite. It is slim-fit as noted in the item description, and I am able to fit my foot into my (loosely laced) shoe whereas I couldn’t at all with my other bulkier braces. I also found this brace to be high quality (see my video) and I love the quick-lace feature. Anyone who has had to squeeze their foot into a lace up brace will understand when I say this is so much easier to take on and off, and the end near your toes is so much easier to control the tightness, especially if that area is tender. The brace is easily loosened but pulling it apart, slip foot in and with two quick motions the brace is laced up. Then ust need to finish up with the side wraps. I will note that this ankle brace is a bit less supportive than my other braces - perhaps because the material is thinner - but fortunately a bonus compression sleeve was included and it was good once I used that under the brace. I would recommend using the sleeve if you need a bit more support than just the brace.

I will start by saying this is a very good brace. It’s well designed and provides excellent ankle support. The side stabilizing straps are just a rubber material but are attached to nylon straps which are solid and when tightened, really do prevent ankle rolls. The only downside side I have experienced is that all the straps and materials have significantly stretched out making it hard to keep tight. I am at the very end on the Velcro for every strap, making the brace less stabilizing with use. I recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally would to account for this. That being said, I use it every day to support an ankle I sprained 2x in a week and would recommend it

Great product! I was in a boot after I broke my foot. It was so awkward. I ordered this brace & a carbon insole and it made my life so much better. I’m still not weight bearing but I am comfortable!

Very well made!!!! (It is officially made in China, that being said, it's extremely functional in design and material). The design is fantastic! Better than my medical grade ones. Easy to use (After the first time:) Truly, Very impressed by this product.
I bought in 2 different sizes. Heed their advice and measure your ankle and consider if you are going to wear socks or not or if you are injured with any swelling or bandages before selecting a size.
My surgeon was very impressed by this products design and support for my injury. (*note: not medical advice, just my experience.)
The velcro is nice and easy to adjust, but with all velcro be sure to clean it and be careful around fuzzy socks, etc.
I will be buying an additional one (or two) for a backup.
There are micro neoprene vents at the bottom so your foot can breathe and not get all sweaty. Brilliant!
The side pulls are rigid, yet comfortable really give your ankle extra support.

Have worn this ankle wrap for 3 days so far great results for walking and doing farm chores. Fits in my shoe with a little effort and is comfortable and so far preventing my drop foot ankle from repeating the roll to the outside. I already sprained my ankle. Hoping this speeds recovery and prevents future injuries.

At first i didnt feel like this brace was very useful. Its not very stiff, but after wearing it with the provided compression sleeve my ankle seemed to be healing after a bad sprain. Ive been wearing it for 3 weeks. Only issue is my shoes wete not wide enough to fit it in there . Velcro is super strong. The side bands are a hard rubber, not as rigid as i expected.

This is a sophisticated ankle support. It comes with a separate sleeve which is really not necessary if you wear socks. I play tennis several times a week, and it is really rough on you feet, with quick running, stopping and turning. This ankle support provides a great deal of stabilizing, in every direction. It has an internal sock, with two sets of laces.. so you have to put this on without a shoe. You tighten the lower and upper laces by pulling tabs.. Then you do a criss cross wrap with two long straps that go over the top on your foot then loop underneath and back up the sides. The last step is a strap the wraps around the top. It was a little confusing at first but there are instructions, with good pictures. I really liked this ankle brace, but it seemed a little too restrictive to use while playing. This is better for a situation where you might have some pain or soreness after your activity. I have no medical background, I can only comment on what helps me. Obviously, if you have a serious issue, go see your doctor. Overall I liked the multiple directions of support this provided.

When this brace arrived, I was really surprised on how easy it was to put on. At first I wasn't sure but once I had this thing on, the support is way better than any other compression sleeve or brace that I've used. I love that I can wear this with or without socks but with either way, still supportive. Its easy to wash because I can either hand wash or throw it in my washer and its clean. I ordered a size medium and its a perfect fit and the size of this is perfect. However, I found if I need it tighter, I can do that as well. I mainly use this brace to help when I'm on my stair stepper, running or just walking and no matter what I'm doing, I feel as though my ankle is always supported. Works perfectly and can see if I were to sprain my ankle, this brace is perfect for those.

The material is breathable, so it doesn’t get too hot, and the adjustable straps allow for a customized fit. While it offers decent protection, it’s not the most durable option—after a few weeks of intense play, the Velcro started to wear down. Overall, a good choice for added ankle support, but might need replacing sooner than expected with heavy use.

When I saw the Quick Lace available to evaluate, there was almost no descriptive information on the product page. There was a size chart for measuring a foot, so I figured it might be some sort of assistive device for lacing shoes. I decided to get it and at least add to the description via my review.

February 13, 2025:
This is actually an ankle brace with both laces and Velcro straps. The instructions are pretty clear. Putting the brace on takes a little practice, but the step-by-step directions work. The brace is meant to be worn over a sock.

I wear shoe size US 11 and the Large brace fits me okay.

The brace is machine washable in cool water and the recommendation is to wash it in a lingerie/mesh bag.

I think the brace provides firm, secure support. Based on its function, I would recommend it to family and friends.

Also included was a complimentary ankle compression sleeve which is beyond the scope of this review.

This ankle brace provides excellent support for my ankle. I ordered the size medium after measuring my ankle according to the size chart instructions. It fits perfectly. I wear a U.S. women’s 8.5 to 9.0 shoe size. The liner is strong but stretchy, and I wore it over thin socks and over fuzzy fleece ones. I like how adjustable the brace is; it has several places it can be adjusted, which is good for accommodating stages of swelling. The short instructions with illustrations are clear and easy to follow, provided one takes the time to look at them. It says to do the adjustments with the foot flat on the ground, and that is actually important to do for the best fit and support. I have a hand injury, and I had no problems adjusting the brace. The design is well thought out. It takes me about a minute to put the whole brace on. It’s really not complicated at all. I can wear my adjustable slippers and sandals and some shoes over it. I can’t wear my boots or athletic shoes with it. I’ve used numerous ankle braces over the years, and this is one of the better ones.

This ZOELION quick lace up ankle brace is a well made and simple to use stabilizer. The quick lace is great. I broke my ankle and had foot surgery (lots of metal in there now) the day before Christmas (2024) and wore a tall boot until Feb 4th where he moved me to a brace. The podiatrist gave (well I had to buy it) me an ankle brace similar to this one but it has an actual shoe lace setup with the holes like a shoe which is a royal pain to get on, laced, and tied by yourself (also hard to remove as you have to unlace and loosen about half of the holes to get on or off). So after 1 day of that I found this one with the "Quick Lace" which makes this ankle brace stupid easy to get on and off and it supports my ankle better than my original one. It is also as comfortable as can be wearing my sneakers. Take note that while this (or any) ankle brace will help support your ankle it is also compressing other parts of your foot to do it so while your ankle may be secure you will probably feel pain or discomfort in other places that didn't hurt like your arch, heel, or top of foot so you will just have to get used to it. I wore a tall boot for over 6 weeks and my calf and shin hurt worse than my ankle the whole time just from the boot. This is a high quality ankle brace and I am glad I found it.

90% of this was very well designed. I use a lot of ankle braces for when I practice martial arts. It really does help with support and minimize recovery time after practice. This one is very well thought out and well designed... well, for the most part. The quick lace is perfect, as is the straps that wraps around the bottom. All the hood and loop in the right locations. Good amount of support. The only thing I don't understand is why they would make the top wrap "double ended" or in two pieces. This means that I can wrap with one hand for every part of the brace, until I get to the last part, in which case I would need to use both hands. I have had ankle brace that is done right... the ones with one single long strap. This is the only area that bothers me. Maybe not a big deal if you only use this once or twice, but because I use them regularly, I find the design of the top strap annoying.

This ankle brace from ZOELION caught my attention with its thoughtful features such as the adjustability of a lace-up brace without manual lacing (the laces are adjusted via Velcro) and the resulting easy-on convenience. It is constructed just as well as it appears to be in the marketing images, but in use, it ended up causing a problem for me rather than solving one.

This is my first time using an ankle brace, which I hoped would address a mild but sometimes limiting pain that is brought on by prolonged periods of standing or after walking several miles within a day. For the reasons I described above, donning the brace is extremely easy, and should even be doable for people with limited mobility/dexterity (if you can put on a shoe, this should be no problem). Once on and tightened, my ankle did in fact feel well-supported, but a new problem revealed itself once I stated walking: every footfall on the brace side feels unstable -- I suspect this is because the brace wraps around my arch and therefore modifies its shape as it hits the ground. Whatever the reason, the result is pain on a part of my ankle that had no pain before, along with new pains on my foot, knee and hip. Fortunately, these new pains were temporary and subsided once I removed the brace.

The unexpected silver lining for me was the included compression sleeve which is meant to be worn under the brace -- since the pain I hoped to address is mild, the slight support offered by the sleeve along with a sock and shoe actually helps me more than the brace itself does.

I'm deducting one star because it didn't work for me, but the materials, construction, and price are so good that it would be unfair to rate it lower, especially when you consider that our bodies and related pains are all different. I actually do recommend you try this, and hope that you have better luck with it than I did.
