I really like this thermometer. It seems to me that it measures the temperature very accurately. The only downside is that the green light shines into the child’s face, and I didn’t understand if it’s possible to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Went looking for a thermometer and realized I didn’t have one, so I ordered this one. I love the fact that you don’t have to stick it in your ear and use ear guards to keep it clean. It’s a simple press button. The temp comes back in a couple of seconds. The display is nice and bright. I made a good purchase.

Really liked this thermometers I use it with my 2 month old, I bought it right before he got his vaccines to monitor his temperature. Seemed very accurate. The read speed was extra quick, the storage capacity was great as it is small. The brightness is great as well. Overall loved it.

I purchased this back in 2020 and still have it today. However the readings seem to be an accurate and this has been since I first purchased it back in 2020 if you take the temperature from the front of the forehead and then from the side temple of the head, you’ll get two completely different readings, which makes me question the accuracy.

Great little device. I like that I can take a temp without waking the kids. It is infrared so i can see where the device is aiming and when it displays the temp it display is in either green for good, orange for watch, and red for fever.

Pros-I love the ease of this thermometer, the silent mode and how fast it is to register temp.
Cons- The flash of the laser is SO bright when taking kiddos temp at night that even though it was silent , it still woke her up because it’s as bright as a camera flash in your eyes, when it’s a dark room.
Also, the temp ranges greatly depending on where exactly on the forehead you check it … I honestly don’t know if my kid has a fever or not because one spot says 101 and another spot says 98. Where exactly am I supposed to point this to get the accurate temp…?? The instructions simply say “forehead.” Not helpful.

I've been using it for the last 7 months and it had been really helpful. Whenever my LO gets shots, I'm anxious if she'll have fever. Temperature from this thermometer may not be as accurate as the rectal temperature, however, it's convenient for both baby and me.

Out of the 5 thermometers we have at home this one seems to be the most accurate. I love the display size, how the colors change depending on my son’s temp, and how you have the option to put it on mute.

I want to compare it with a trash I bought recently. During a travel for an emergent incident, I bought another trash thermometer from safeway for 40 bucks. It requires a screwdriver to open the battery case which is not available in travel, it has almost 10 buttons and it was not functional for the most of time. Threw it to trash.

But this one on Amazon is totally different. Highly recommended. The best theometer I have ever seen. I wish I could buy this from Safeway or other stores.

THE MOST ACCURATE FOREHEAD THERMOMETER IVE EVER USED! As with any thermometer that’s a forehead thermometer…there is a bit of fluctuation in readings but mine are always within a 1 degree difference . I always take 3 readings and this one has been the most persistent by far. I also have an ihealth one as well that I used for years but I found this one on sale and snatched it up. I honestly prefer this one compared to my ihealth one. I think it’s more accurate. I do with it had the vibration for when it’s done when the sound is off like the ihealth but not a huge deal. I also love the dot that goes on the forehead. Just makes things that much easier. Haven’t used it as an object thermometer but definitely recommend for anyone sick in the family. Super fast readings. Also love the color coded screen that tells you if a fever is detected too. Overall I highly recommend this thermometer!!!

I had to get this in purple! I read lots of reviews, and it seemed like the perfect choice. After installing included butteries, it worked perfectly! I noticed in some reviews, others got a cute little bag, but mine didn’t come with one. Not sure if they are included anymore, or what, but I am happy with this so far! We just received it today!

The product is a good product you just have to be close to the person or whatever you’re taking the temperature. You can’t be far away or read a different temperature. That’s the only downfall that I see to this product it’s worth the money.

I only gave this four stars because I have not used it yet. But looking at the packaging it was very well packaged and well labeled. It looks like it will be very easy to use with a simple two button control. It feels like a quality product not light and cheap and doesn't seem to be made of cheap plastic. I would definitely recommend this item. Good value for the money.

It works both ways. If you wanna change you press the temperature🌡button, once is on press the sound button 🔉X till it starts to blink the F° when it does continue pressing and it changes to C°. To revert you just need to repeat the sequence once again.

Unit came well packed and no damage. Very easy to use and the instructions straight forward. Checked against 2 other oral thermometers all were within a few fractions of a degree. Example , though I forgot to take a pick of the standard ones. The no touch showed 97.8, the other two 97.6 and 97.7. Great gift for someone starting out , perhaps in a travel med bag.

I just received this and installed the included batteries (nice!). I compared the read to that of an oral thermometer we’ve been using and it’s accurate. Photo attached. The read was quick. I found the temple to be more accurate. The forehead read was 98. (I’ve tried 2 other forehead thermometers and always resorted to our VICKS oral thermometer because the others were all over the place.) I hope this continues to work well. This will be much easier to use on our children. Especially when they’re sick and out of it, I can quickly check their temp without waking them.

My previous non-contact thermometer, purchased at the start of the pandemic and which lasted 4+ years broke due to a most unfortunate fall so grabbed this one for use. Seems pretty accurate, based upon a 3-round,round robin testing of each of the three members of my household. And unlike my previous one, this one has a nice little beep when temperature is measured. My initial readings were all over the place from 94.3 to 96 degrees; I normally run low at around 97-98 degrees but never that low. After reading the instructions, I took my temp again holding the thermometer 1" from my forehead and finally got correct temps. We like it very much. Bought it for our newborn and us. Measuring within a second and shows precise temperature. Hospitals and especially NICU must use this one instead the one they put in to arm pits.

I love the features and ease of use!
I don’t think it is accurate. Not long after I bought it, I became infected and felt quite ill. The Dr put me on IV antibiotics to prevent sepsis. I took my temperature with this thermometer and it was 97.6 F.
At the clinic it was 102F. I had to go back everyday for the treatment. At first, before the meds, they recorded 103F but this thermometer at home said it was 97.4. My old thermometer read the same as the infusion clinic measured. Even changing batteries didn’t help. I’ve put off getting a new one for a long time because they are expensive but most every thing I check is 97.4 so I decided it’s time to shop for a new one.

My daughter was transferred and hospitalized last month and since then I've upped on my medical supplies for her. I'm the worst for not having a thermometer, so I was really excited to get this and a rectal thermometer for her. We bought this thermometer to replace one we've had for a very long time, we figured it was time to move on from stick it in your ear to contactless technology, at first we had trust issues, but we compared it to our old trusted one and got to trust it as much… It is definitely a great thermometer, gives accurate readings, is super light and it brings a storage pouch to keep it safe. I think that this is a good thermometer. However in the hours I've had it I can see that the temperature reading is NOT all that accurate. It's better when aiming at the temple opposed to the middle of the forehead.

Worth it, I've bought several thermometers in the last year and none were accurate or of great quality. The quality and accuracy of this thermomter out performs more expensive brands. I feel relieved knowing I'll get accurate readings if my children get sick.

After 20 minutes of trying to get it to work it finally worked as I made a video showing how it didn’t. 🤣 now I’m not sure if I should return it or keep it. It kept giving me an error 1 code which means it’s either too hot or too cold which didn’t makes sense because as you can see in the video it should have worked . Well now it does. We’ll keep it and give an update if it glitches. Must have needed time to acclimate or something. Maybe it was too hot from sitting outside in the heat from being delivered?

Everytime I use this is seems to be over 1 degree off, on the cold end, so cannot be relied upon. This would make a 104 fever look like 102.8. I got this info from using my other 2 mouth thermometers and came up the same everytime for 2 days. And when you look at others temp pics from reviews they seem to be the same from other people. 97 96 95…

I like the design of this thermometer. Ergonomic, easy to use, easy to read. Consistent readings for me (the instructions say how far away to hold it from your skin depending on where you are aiming.) I use my thumb and forefinger as a "spacer" to get consistent readings (pic) when taking my own temp or someone else's from the forehead (just make sure your fingers are around the rim so you don't interfere with either sensor.) Directions also say to keep sensors clean using only rubbing alcohol and a cotton wipe. Comes with batteries and they are the common AAA size unlike some other brands that make it easier to just junk the unit and buy another one instead of trying to find the correct battery size. Soft carrying bag with drawstring closure. Very pleased so far and will update review should my opinion change.

First of all, I like it has color indication since I am not fully familiarized with how to identify a hot or cold temperature. I come from another country where using celsius is way more common which I think is awesome for me since I prefer using celsius to Fahrenheit. It comes with batteries, a certificate of quality (very important), and a cute bag to keep it clean and provide better care. I like it is contactless which prevents physical contact with some contagious diseases (not only for covid). As I mentioned before, I like the green color indicates normal temperature! I also tried it right after I came from a hot day to see if there were any errors in the measurement but it still shows a normal temperature. I truly recommend it!

First impression: I love that this thermometer came with a little bag and batteries :) It’s very easy to use, I like that it is touchless. I have a thermometer that needs to swiped across the forehead and that can be tricky with a grabby baby. The instructions say that the reading can be off by up to a degree F, which is fine as you generally just need to know whether there is a fever or not, an oral or ear temperature will always be the most accurate. I didn’t know when I purchased it but there is also an environmental measurement mode. That can be very useful when it comes to bottle or bath preparation. There’s a memory capability to pull up the last few measurements for comparison. The screen is backlit for easy use in a dark room (who wants to wake a sick baby in order to take a temperature??) I haven’t had a fever crop up for us to put this to the test, but I’m very pleased with what I’ve seen so far!

I received my order extremely fast and I was pleasantly surprised that the thermometer came with a protective carrying case to protect the sensor and also make it easier to throw into a diaper bag without having to worry about damaging it.

I was really happy to find out this thermometer had a “mute” button which made it convenient at night when I’m trying to take my babies temperature and it doesn’t beep super loud and wake him up!! I also love that it indicates the safety of the temperature based on the color of green, orange, or red making it easy for me to know even before I can read it.
Although I ordered this for taking my childrens temps, I found out it also can be used to check the temp on objects and even your room!!! I got tired of swiping across the head and wanted to try something else. So look at the video and the pictures. The 4 photos were used on myself. Fairly close to a match on both devices. And if you have a child accuracy is very important.
I think I'd lean toward the infrared thermometer vs the touchless.
So if you have 2 devices compare them quite a few times then make your choice.

I truly LOVE this products. From when it got here it was nicely packed, sealed all the way. It comes with a nice travel baggie, and with batteries which is very very handy because most of the time products don’t come with the batteries so that was a plus.

I received product yesterday - I’ve installed batteries provided and this is what it said. I was disappointed because now I have to go out and purchase batteries when I thought it would be good to go.

This works fine if you understand how this works.

1) Unlike a regular infrared thermometer this uses a green light instead of a red laser for targeting and has a closer working distance. I use this on people instead of my regular infrared thermometer because I do not want to accidentally shine a laser in to someone's eye.

2) Additionally this does not read the actual temperature, but rather gives you an estimated temperature based on an applied temperature offset. This is because your forehead is cooler than your core. Keep this in mind. I forgot about this one night and freaked out - I put a label on it "forehead use only" for those sleepless nights when I forget the basics.

3) Don't stress over the decimal points. I useally measure my forehead temperature then the babies, and note the difference. Most of the time it is 98.4/98.4 or 97.7/97.7 and etc.

Since we just got it, I can only provide a limited review. That being said, it's affordable. We have a different brand (much more expensive) already and both seem to provide a similar temp. So pricewise it is much better. Also, the ease of use is a plus. Further it is color coded so if it's a hot temperature it's in the red if it's close to being warm it's yellow and if it's a good temperature it's green. So that's a nice feature. But i cannot rate durability yet since it was just purchased.

Update: After continuing to get false lows on certain family members I decided to check my temps on areas such as my underarm (remember that as a kid, I do.) Anyway, turns out, checking temps there seems to work for individuals with known circulation issues. It's annoying to have to check that way, and I'm still collecting data against a known thermometer, but it is encouraging that the unit can work. As a result, I've added a star and will continue to assess as appropriate.

Pros:
fits in hand well
Light weight and protective travel bag
Fast reads
Bright screen is easy to read.

Cons:
It's simply not giving accurate reads on everyone.

I wanted to love this unit, I was so excited... Until I was left disappointed instead.
While this unit will get an accurate read on two of my family members with regularity, 50/50 on another, our other child and myself have never gotten an accurate read. It has only gone as high as 98.5°F on me while my other thermometer is clocking as high as 100.4°F. that's a serious issue....
I have attempted testing in diffent spots on my forehead, different rooms, and nothing works. I'm guessing it's possibly due to my medical conditions that I get such discrepancies. It also makes me nervous that if 2/5 in my family never get accurate reads with these units, how many other people are the same way, making all these public fever checkpoints ineffective.
At any rate, I'll keep the unit, keeping it from a landfill, knowing it's only useful for a couple people but it is useful on measurements of air temp and food items so...yay?
Again, wish I could love it, I'm just disappointed.

Checking out thermometers to purchase for our local elementary school and caught this one on a lightening deal. Couldn’t be happier!

I’ve never had a non-touch thermometer before, so I compared the temp readings to my trusty Braun Ear thermometer that I’ve used for 5 years AND a standard oral thermometer. The forehead reading was within .1 of both! (Temp reading scanning at the Ear instead of forehead will be higher- but the instructions included a note about this range difference for expectations. Planning to scan forehead only anyway so no problems for me there.) Batteries came in the package - that made me super happy cause I could use it right away. AND it came with a nifty little satchel bag to keep it in! (Which will come to good use since I’m keeping this bad boy in my purse). Super stoked that it comes with a warranty too! Great ALL around - no regrets!!

It’s just never pleasant to receive something you just paid for looking like it was tossed around without any care.

The first temperature it gave was 97.7°, which feels like it could be accurate, but I suppose time will tell.
