No es confiable, recien comprado todo bien, mi bebé en prematura, y debo estar verificando la temperatura la cual últimamente segun este termómetro está elevada, al probar es distinto lugares de su cabecita no determina la determina la temperatura, es muy confuso, al mismo tiempo pruebo con uno digital y ese me indica temperatura normal,lo mejor es siempre un termómetro digital.

Lots of "excitement" in videos about being able to mute the beep. The beep is so quiet that you can barely hear it when held against your head so definitely don't buy on the mute capability. When tested against my doctor's thermometer, it reads one degree high so I don't know which is wrong, but I do know that all medical facilities find me within two degrees of 97.3F and this finds me at 100.3 so I assume it is wrong.

It is not accurate at all absolutely not!!! I had to compare with several other type of ThermometerS and they all gave me the same temperature but this one didn’t it was it was the only one that show me a lower temperature when I knew that I had a fever, low fever, but I had low fever

If the batteries had worked I would have rated this higher. Fortunately I had AAA batteries. Appears to be good quality. I only wanted a quick read, not storing data. Fits well in hand, easy to use.

It will give you a reading, but it won’t be accurate, but At least it will be close to the actual temperature. Checked the fever and it read 102, 103, 104, 106, and 101 in a matter of seconds. There was a fever, but it was close to 101-102.

I purchased this back in 2020 and still have it today. However the readings seem to be an accurate and this has been since I first purchased it back in 2020 if you take the temperature from the front of the forehead and then from the side temple of the head, you’ll get two completely different readings, which makes me question the accuracy.

Pros-I love the ease of this thermometer, the silent mode and how fast it is to register temp.
Cons- The flash of the laser is SO bright when taking kiddos temp at night that even though it was silent , it still woke her up because it’s as bright as a camera flash in your eyes, when it’s a dark room.
Also, the temp ranges greatly depending on where exactly on the forehead you check it … I honestly don’t know if my kid has a fever or not because one spot says 101 and another spot says 98. Where exactly am I supposed to point this to get the accurate temp…?? The instructions simply say “forehead.” Not helpful.

After 20 minutes of trying to get it to work it finally worked as I made a video showing how it didn’t. 🤣 now I’m not sure if I should return it or keep it. It kept giving me an error 1 code which means it’s either too hot or too cold which didn’t makes sense because as you can see in the video it should have worked . Well now it does. We’ll keep it and give an update if it glitches. Must have needed time to acclimate or something. Maybe it was too hot from sitting outside in the heat from being delivered?

I received product yesterday - I’ve installed batteries provided and this is what it said. I was disappointed because now I have to go out and purchase batteries when I thought it would be good to go.

It’s just never pleasant to receive something you just paid for looking like it was tossed around without any care.

The first temperature it gave was 97.7°, which feels like it could be accurate, but I suppose time will tell.
