They installed easily with the right tools. I didn't use the anchors that came with them. I used self-drilling drywall anchors, which I find to be far superior to the type that come with this product. Fortunately we have a dedicated laundry room. A few of use need to air dry some items. This retractable clothes line does the job of saving space when not in use.Great little clothes line.Dried a rug on it for my first time using it and was able to wash the rug while hanging.
