(1) the pads go the full width of the Band-Aid! On so many past versions they leave a tiny 1/16" or so strip of adhesive plastic on the side to (box marketing) "seal the wound". No, it doesn't. 20 years of trying that on various Band-Aid models and the strip always comes un-stuck, with adhesive exposed, to pick up dirt faster than normal. Complete design failure. With these they give up on that nonsense and simply run the pad out to the edges. On one past model of Band-Aids the pad was like HALF the width of the Band-Aid! What?
(2) The wrapper each Band-Aid is in peels open without a hassle. With so many other types over the years I had to give up and just rip the package open.
(3) The adhesive is strong enough to stick, not only to (likely damp from washing my hands) skin, but to the Band-Aid itself if I wrap it around a finger or such. On some past Band-Aid models it has been soul-crushing to get the Band-Aid out of the wrapper (not easy), get it wrapped around my bleeding finger just right, only to have the Band-Aid not stick and immediately fall off. :(
(4) The flexible fabric flexes, but not too much. On at least one past Band-Aid model the fabric flexed/stretched so much it would not remain tight against the wound and, in fact, fell right off after a short period.
(5) I can visually tell the difference in the 3 sizes in the box to select the right one. Want a challenge? Try that with the smallest two sizes in a Band-Aid "Skin Flex" type assortment.
(6) There is an extra large size available, right here on Amazon! I've bought that too and it has all the same wonderful features. FINALLY a Band-Aid big enough for larger cuts, without being a 3"x3" gauze pad.
The only issues where you might need a different type of Band-Aid are (1) waterproof - these are water-resistant but not waterproof, and (2) a much bigger or deeper wound: adhesive pads, surgical closures, or really a trip to the urgent care or ER.
I also HIGHLY recommend good 'ol Bacitracin Zinc ointment over newfangled antibiotic stuff. You can get it right here on Amazon.
Verdict: BUY THESE BAND-AIDS! Recommended! A++++++
And very flexible and comfortable
Will purchase again!
Extremely POOR SHIPPING!!! These were shipped in a paper bag that arrived looking like a crumpled piece of paper. The boxes are now ruined and worthless for storing the bandages. Will have to find my own container now, which is inconvenient and annoying.
Still giving this 5 stars since the product itself is great and the poor shipping is not the manufacturer’s fault.
First off, let's talk about the multiple sizes that come in this box. You've got small ones for those itty-bitty boo-boos that just need a little TLC. Then there are the medium-sized ones for those pesky paper cuts that make you question your career choices. And let's not forget the big guns, the large-sized ones that can handle everything from scraped knees to epic kitchen mishaps. With all these sizes at your disposal, you'll be well-equipped for any minor injury life throws your way.
But wait, there's more! These bandaids aren't just for cuts and scrapes. Oh no, they are versatile little wonders. Need to fix a broken shoelace? Slap a Band-Aid on it! Want to create temporary wall art without damaging the paint? Band-Aids to the rescue! Got a stubborn loose button? You guessed it, Band-Aid it! The possibilities are endless, my friends. These bandages are like the MacGyver of the medical world.
Now, I must take a moment to address the inappropriate uses that, although tempting, you probably shouldn't try. Let's be clear, these bandaids are not meant to fix a leaky faucet (please call a plumber), repair a cracked smartphone screen (trust me, it won't work), or hold your car together (sorry, duct tape is still your best bet there). They are designed for the noble task of protecting and aiding the healing process of minor cuts and wounds. So, let's keep it real and use them for their intended purpose, shall we?
In conclusion, if you're in the market for bandaids that go above and beyond, look no further than this box of flexible fabric wonders from Band-Aid. They are not only perfect for patching up cuts and scrapes, but they also double as multi-purpose problem solvers. Just remember, with great bandaging power comes great responsibility. So, go forth, unleash your creativity (within reason), and let these bandages work their magic. You'll wonder how you ever survived without them. Band-Aid brand, you've truly nailed it (pun intended)!
How do I get my refund or replacement if it is not eligible for return?
The only con is that the smallest size band-aid is extremely small. Works for children. However, if you have no use for this size, this might not be the pack for you.
I like this bulk deal you see here. In this order, you receive 2 boxes of assorted sizes. Each box contains 3 sizes, giving a total of 100 bandaids per box. So, all in all, you received 200 bandaids. I have uploaded some pictures so you can see the size differences in comparison with each other.
However, it’s still as sticky as before. Not really waterproof, but it won’t come out when you take shower or swimming!
I did not test for water-proofness.
There are 100 assorted sizes.
25 - 1"x3"
35 - 3/4"x3"
40 - 5/8"x2 1/4"
Unfortunately the box was crushed during delivery. Disappointing when the item included 100 count bandaids & it is desirable to store for some time.
They're bandages, so most of them are still fine and usable, but some got torn. The picture is after I "fixed" the box by bending things back together and folding it up as best as it can be. Definitely looked worse on opening.
Still, shipping and packaging problems are shipping and packaging problems. The item itself works as you'd expect it to. Sticks on, covers a minor wound. Can't complain about that.
You look down; where’s my Band-Aid?? I didn’t feel it fall off...so you look around not wanting to be nasty & leave a used Band-Aid on the floor in the store, or somewhere your dog will find it and eat it.
But you never find it. Because it could have fallen off an hour ago. They’re fine as far as it goes, but they just don’t stick.
This Band-Aid WILL STAY ON. It also has a gigantic pad, which I like, but FYI this is not the size for, say, wrapping around a finger, unless you are the size of Andre the Giant or Shaq.
This is great for other areas though or larger/longer wounds.
The main attraction, though, is it AIN’T COMIN’ OFF. I initially purchased it because my dog just had a large leg tumor/cyst/barnacle removed and said after the initial bandage came off, if I wanted to use something this size, with a big pad but that wouldn’t go all the way around the leg so as not to compress it too tightly, I could.
Well. It stayed on. When it came time to change it out, I basically WAXED MY POOR DOG’S LEG trying to pull it off gently. That’s how tenacious the adhesive is. Behold the photographic evidence.
Wetting it didn’t work to let slip off more easily, so this probably survives showers excellently, maybe even swimming or baths.
I eventually tried a bit of oil, like olive oil/grapeseed oil, which was more helpful, etc, but was scared to get oil in the fresh incision/stitches. So it was basically just trying to ease it off as gently/slowly as possible.
I mean, I cannot use these because I have no desire to rip fur off a dog; I’ll have to try something else.
But I had to write a review because this Band-Aid is not fooling around. It is on you for the long haul. It is the Band-Aid of yore. I will use them on myself for sure.
Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages Flexible Fabric, Assorted 100 Count
I love flexible fabric bandages, they are the only ones I can get to stick to my skin. Sheer just doesn't work, neither does their waterproof line. My problem seems to be sweat - I'm a sweaty person and regular band-aids just don't like me.
I added my picture to show others they're shipping QuiltVent.
