Grating cheddar cheese got jammed inside the exit hopper and had to use a fork to empty it. Thin cheese slide down the barrel getting stuck.
Thin slicer for cucumber worked much nicer, but again left thin peel around the barrel. Easy to use otherwise and cleans nicely.

I bought the red one wirh 5 blades. I read the negative reviews and the positive reviews and decided to buy it. I am so glad I did! This little Gadget is the best thing I've had in my kitchen in a very long time!

This was a life changer, having a huge family usually means no one wants to grate the cheese at supper time. Well my kids even fight over whose turn it is.

An amazing little machine. Easy to assemble, very easy to use and it does an awesome job. The slicer blades I am a bit disappointed with as it is a really fine slice, wish it would cut a bit thicker slices. Highly recommend this product

I really love this product, much better than taking out the food processor for pizza with shredded cheese. I wish the nose was a little longer since cheese goes on a plate, but if you have a large bowl instead that works so much better.

Nice compact grater used for cheese and grating pepperoni on pizza. Easy to clean, all plastic so you can’t be too rough on it but works well. Attaches to countertop with suction and doesn’t move.

I was a little skeptical about getting this but I'm glad I did especially with the thanksgiving a day away. This was a life saver grating cheese quickly. Best investment yet and easy to up together and clean.

My least favourite kitchen task is grating cheese!!!! This handy gadget is a wonderful little tool for MANY things!! I've grated cheese, chocolate, nuts, cold butter for pasty, etc, etc. I have sliced eggs, carrots, apples, mini potatoes, etc, etc, etc!! AlI parts go into the dishwasher. I bought one for my DIL too and will buy more when they come on sale again!!!

Used it once so far to grate carrots, worked very well! Cuts through them like butter. No clogging, easy to set up, adheres well to the cluntertop with the suction (twist knob to turn on & off). Very satisfied so far, I look forward to using it to grate other things. You do need too hands to grate--one to spin the level and one to push down from the top.

Since the parts come apart, it is easy to clean. Came in nice packaging

Pros:
This machine is easy to put together. Crank method is so fast I love that part and it’s way to get in areas to clean.
Way easier than holding a grater and shredding cheese at same time.
Very quick to change out barrels making it awesome to switch between sizes.
Crushed Graham wafers in a second!! Way better than my other chopper. The crackers were like sand. That will be great for my cheese cakes and crushing crackers for recipes.
Con’s: the cheese does get stuck but you can easy pry out with knife and keep going.
When the cheese gets really low it kid of sticks in flat pieces to the grater between the grater and the wall. I still use it for the cheese because it’s still easier than a hand grater.

Originally I bought it for a very fin shredder for carrots. The smallest option is still a bit larger than I wanted and the one I used for the graham crackers was too small. Need one in between for carrots.
Overall happy I purchased this!!

It is very easy to assemble and break down everything. Grating is a breeze. My only issue is that the block used to push down food onto the grater does not go all the way down (for obvious reasons) so when grating cheese for example, we have pieces flattened against the grater and won't grate. See photos. This is not a big issue to us though. Still no regrets getting it.

If you are constantly in the kitchen and love to cook this is an excellent product for you. It makes it so easy to grate and spiral food without cutting your fingers. In comparison to a traditional cheese grater this is way more economically friendly, easier to clean, and overall effortless. Although the product is plastic, it’s an easy click system that makes changing the attachments simple. I like the colour that it comes in, it’s aesthetically pleasing. I can also take it apart and put it together very quickly, so I just hand wash it. I’m not sure if it’s dishwasher safe, as I haven’t tried. Overall an excellent spiral or,/grater. The only reason I’m giving it a four-star is because a price point almost $45 is very high.

Easy to assemble, easy to clean as well. Tried all 3 blades and it works perfectly. I use it for a variety of veggies like potatoes, radish and kabocha squash and it is amazing.

This thing is AMAZING. I had my doubts because I had purchased another mandolin/slicer contraption and it was awful. This is super easy to use - and actually saves you a ton of time.

The blades are easy and quick to change out, very sharp and slice/grate evenly. The little pusher thing at the top makes sure you don’t waste anything at all.

The parts are top rack dishwasher safe, but they super easy to just rinse with soapy water as well.

The suction works super well; one minor issue is that I wish it was a bit taller so that larger bowls could fit beneath it, but it’s small and perfect for storage.

The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because it would be nice if it came with a smaller grate size, and a ribbon grater. Would also be great if it came with a carrying case to store all the parts. Luckily I have a zipper bag that fits it all perfectly.

Super happy with this purchase - I’m never buying coleslaw again!!!

Such a great product and easy to clean and use. Ive used to grate the cheese and I just put the small chunk of block and it easily does it within a minute. my hands dont get strained like before. Would definitely recommend to buy

I had a different model given to me for Christmas. I hated it. Hard to put together, wouldn’t stick. This one I purchased because of the reviews. It’s easy to assemble with simple lock and unlock mechanisms. But the biggest factor for me is when you turn the lock to set it to the counter, it works! It works on plastic, granite, glass, smooth or rough! And it sits high enough that a 1.2QT/1.23L stainless steel mixing bowl fits underneath without issues.

The product is overall pretty good. It shreds well, is easy to assemble, and is easy to clean. However, the problem is that there’s no place for the cheese to land when shredding.

In theory, this is amazing. Turns a brick of cheese into shredded cheese in under a minute. Love it. However, after very minimal use it clogs and it’s clearly because the blades are not sharp. I have an old hand cheese grater from 10 years ago that has sharper blades than this one that I’ve only used for 6 months. It still works, but it gets clogged up and doesn’t shred evenly which takes more time unfortunately. If the blade was sharper, I’d be giving this 5 stars.

I HATE traditional cheese graters. I hate using them, I hate washing them, I hate everything about them. This must be distinctly understood or nothing wonderful can come of the story I am going to relate.

This rotary cheese grater is AWESOME!

And I mean that quite literally as I genuinely felt a sense of awe when using this for the first time (and again in all uses since then). It took just THREE measly seconds of rotating the handle to completely shred through a 100g block of pizza mozzarella that would normally take me a several minutes of actual effort and fatigue to work through on a classic grater.

I was pessimistically expecting there to be some kind of hiccup, perhaps the handle would be hard to turn, or it wouldn't manage to shred the last bit of cheese in the jar, or it would be hard to dismantle and clean. My pessimism was smashed. There was no sense of resistance, it was completely smooth and effortless and my fingers never felt safer the entire time. It quickly melted through an entire block of cheese leaving nothing left in the jar or drum. The suction kept it planted solidly on the counter top the entire time, and it was super easy to dismantle and clean afterwards.

I make pizza and/or garlic fingers every weekend and shredding cheese has always been the most time-consuming and laborious task I'd dread having to do, so I am legitimately stunned to have it over so simple, fast, and effortlessly. This gets my fullest recommendation.

Works awesome for grating cheese but not happy on how it grates some vegetables. I tried peppers and onions , don’t think it is meant for those as they come out soggy. Works well for slicing carrots & cucumbers .

Good for cheeses! It also makes pretty good potato chips! Clean-up is pretty easy as you can put it in the dishwasher. I should have bought one of these a while ago.

Before I used a cheap plastic grater, it was more pain than anything. Looked for something else, and this works grate! Easy to take apart, I put everything that needs to go in the dishwasher in there, comes out beautiful.

If it ever breaks, I’m buying another.

I bought this to hopefully save the ends of my fingers from being sliced. I have arthritic hands and this is perfect. The parts assemble and unassemble easily. It takes no time to slice, or grate vegetables, cheese or nuts. It washes (hand wash) up great. I would recommend this to anyone still using the grater your mother used. I would definitely buy again.

Pros:
-very sharp blades makes cutting easy
-easy to assemble and take apart
-cuts through cheese extremely fast, could grate a whole block in no time without your hand muscles getting tired
-safer than a tradition cheese grater, no chance of accidentally grating your fingers

Cons:
-suction cup doesn’t suction, or if it does it comes unstuck within about 30 seconds. That being said, because you are pushing down on the cheese you’re kind of holding it in place with that pressure anyway, so the suction cup isn’t integral to its operation.

Overall I’m very happy that I bought this product and can see myself using it over my traditional cheese grater whenever I have the chance.
